    Description

    1921 Weymann Tenor Banjo, 19-fret Model 40 w. 12" rim. Excellent original condition, including the finish, calfskin, hardware, frets and fingerboard. Beautiful flamed Maple rim and neck, ebony fretboard and bone nut.
    Excellent action, currently set up with a thicker gauge string set specially made for Irish tenor tuning (G-D-A-E, one octave below mandolin or fiddle). It has a loud and full sound.
    Comes with a good condition old case that looks like it was made the 1960s or 70s. The case feels solid and has extra foam padding added for protection (the foam is held by Velcro and is easily removeable).
