    Description

    Vintage Simplicity 7973 Men’s Shirt & Reversible Vest Pattern from 1968. Size - Neck 15 1/2, Chest 40. This pattern is partially cut.
    The top-stitched shirt with back yoke and forward shoulder seams has soft back pleats, front button closing, long set-in sleeves eased to buttoned cuffs, slits in side seams, patch pockets and collar with optional button down points. V.1 has two patch pockets with buttoned flaps. V.2 has one pocket on left side with no flap. The reversible vest with “V” neckline, has front button closing and welt pockets.
    The pattern is checked for completeness, photographed and then, it is placed it in the archival plastic. Pattern is cut or partially cut unless otherwise noted. Pattern and pattern envelope may have small tears or rips due to age. Pattern and envelope may have handwriting on them them. Pattern has all pieces unless otherwise noted.
