Hi you are bidding on a Vintage Alvarez Denver Belle 5 string Banjo.
This is a true gem, truly beautiful Vintage Alvarez Denver Belle 4300.  This has been just setup and had a new bridge put on.
Description
The Vintage Banjos from Japan were some truly top quality instruments in many cases.  The Alvarez Denver Belle was the top of the line for Alvarez and this is an example of one that was basically untouched.
This has a very thick maple shell with a rosewood resonator and I believe a mahogany neck.  The fretboard is rosewood with a Flying Eagle inlay pattern.  There is black and checkered binding on the neck and black and tortoise binding on the resonator.  The front of the resonator also has checkered binding.  The headstock is absolutely gorgeous and includes a Sharp Denver Belle Truss Rod Cover.
There also is some gorgeous carving on the neck heel.  It goes around the neck heel and is a very nice touch.
