    Description

    This 1924 VEGA Plecktrum Four String Banjo belonged to my father for as long as I can remember. He played it occasionally for fun.
    The Four string Plectrum banjo has the same scale neck as a 5 string banjo just without the 5th peg. It is than the "Tenor" version which is the short scale version.
    According to the serial number this one dates to 1924 which is generally regarded as the "Golden age" of the Vega Company.
