Vintage 1923 Bacon The Bacon Orchestra Style C 5-String Banjo in Original Case

Description

I purchased this banjo in its original hardshell case, which is lined in emerald green velour, about 10 years ago.
It is marked with serial number 9853, which I believe puts it in 1923 date of manufacture.
It is a five string instrument. There are several picks and fingerpicks, along with an old empty banjo string envelope in the hidden compartment.
The head was decorated obviously many decades ago with a few colorful transfers of pinup girls. The bridge
has punctured through the head on one side. You may be able to see if you zoom in on a photo.
I have included a photo of the fifth string peg. It looks like originally there was a stop for it on the fingerboard but a little piece broke off on the side. There is now a little screw on the chipped area. Also including closeups pics of the tailpiece.
Other markings are "The Bacon Orchestra", Style C, and Made by / The Bacon Banjo Co, Inc / Groton, Conn. U.S.A.
