The Brazilian Pepper Tree, an invasive species in Florida, produces the pink peppercorns that you see in gourmet pepper mill. Interestingly, it contains antioxidants such as organic acids and phenolic compounds.  These antioxidants are linked to being beneficial to the body such as reducing the risk of strokes, heart attacks, high blood pressure and even cancers.
