    Description

    These are 2 pieces of local summer cut-comb honey weighing 14 ounces each.They are in 4 "+ reuseable hard plastic trays with tight cover.
    I've had 2 to 5 hives of honeybees here in the hilly southwestern part of NY state near the PA border for the last 30 plus years.If you are familiar with the ROCK CITY PARK tourist attraction then you know the terrain.I mainly have had bees for the pollination of our 2 small gardens and 30 blueberry bushes.By the way,I do not use any insecticides or pesticides in or around my gardens. The nectar blend comes from quite a variety of wildflowers and trees including white sweet clover,wild raspberry and thimble berry,blueberry, blackberry, maple, basswood, (goldenrod and wild aster in the fall), just to name a few.I'm also in black bear territory which makes for an interesting challenge every year.I keep my hives within an electric fence hoping not to lose any bee colonies.I have lost hives in the past as bears can be very destructive.Anyways I'm sure you will enjoy the interesting taste of this hometown honey.
