    Local Eastern North Carolina Raw Honey in beautiful one pound Muth jars. Great gift idea. Include a message as to which of the honeys you want included as described below and shown in the pictures.
    Four different harvests of honey denoted by the # on the cork top. Honey becomes darker throughout the harvest season. All honey contains “Wildflowers” while the various harvests have certain flowers that dominate.
    1st harvest is in May with nectar from Strawberry, Red Maple & Tulip Poplar.
    2nd harvest is in June with nectar from Honey Suckle & Flowering Privet.
    3rd harvest is in July with nectar from Crepe Myrtle.
    4th harvest is in October with nectar from Morning Glory, Goldenrod & Purple Astor.
    Raw honey will crystallize over time. Immerse in warm water on the stove for a few minutes and the crystals will disappear. DO NOT BOIL! Boiling will kill all of the nutritional value in the raw honey. Store bought honey is pasteurized (heated) & has no nutritional value. Support local beekeepers by buying local raw honey.
