You are purchasing three pint jars. Approx 1-1/2 pounds per pint. 4-1/2 pounds total
Raw Honey from Arizona's Sonoran Desert. Never been heated.
My bees produce 3 different varieties of honey.
Mesquite Tree honey.  A bold slightly spicy honey.  These bees are kept along the Gila River a unique biome cutting through the Arizona from east to west.
Mesquite trees are king along this path.  Mesquite trees bloom in the spring and are known to produce sap that has antimicrobial properties.                                       This honey has been my best for healing wounds and sore throats.
Palo Verde Tree honey.  A very light honey. It smells and tastes floral. Very good in a cup of tea.  This apiary is in the heart of the scorching desert.  They produce completely different honey.  These bees are collecting from the Palo Verde tree, creosote bush and the various cactus during the desert spring.
Alfalfa honey.  A favorite here in the Southwest. Alfalfa grows great in the hot climate of Arizona. In Summer the soil temps rise and the Alfalfa starts to bloom.
The desert doesn't offer much in the summer so the Alfalfa crop carries them over from spring to summer. A very important crop for the survival of the honeybee in the desert southwest. This honey tastes like clover honey. Sweet and thick.
All honey is thick due to low humidity in Arizona.  If you desire it to be more liquid heat the jar with the lid of in a pan of water. It's recommended to keep the tempeture
of the water at 110F. Otherwise you start to kill off the antimicrobial life which is one of the reasons raw honey is the best.
