Antique 1920s Ludwig Capitol Tenor Banjo W/Original Hardshell Wood Case

Well preserved Ludwig Capitol Tenor Banjo with its original hardshell wood case. This a 19 fret 23" banjo with original Ludwig tailpiece, intact wood resonator pan/neck and shiny pot with all hangers firmly in place. The mother of pearl tuners and inlay to the headstock and neck are in wonderful shape, updated Grover bridge, straight neck with nice action and frets. All banding is intact save from a tiny blem to the back of the wood resonator which has some minor scuff/scratch, but no cracks with all 4 felt tipped braces present. The case is likewise in sound shape though it does have some scuff/scratch to the tolex, descent felt lining though someone has added a screw to the storage compartment for ease in lifting that can be removed easily enough. The casing is intact and the closures are sound as is the carry handle though there is wear to the leather wrap. Just a nice collectible and certainly serviceable classic show banjo.
