Trader-BOB's MUSIC offers 1970's Epiphone 5 string resonator banjo, made in Japan. Mastertone design. Dismantled, hand polished, the aluminum parts. New Remo Renaissance head. Reassembled, new strings, professionally setup, PLAY READY. The wooden parts, neck, resonator, all still have the original finish. The finish on the resonator, has a slight haze to it, like some moisture was present when it was new. The haze will not buff out. These marks are aesthetic only, have no bearing on the sound / playability of this instrument.  I have installed a new Pisgah Hawk Tail tailpiece. The original was missing when I got it, and I didn't really like the one I had to put on it first time. See pix #12, I did not want to retake all the pictures.  Judging from the lowball offers I have gotten for this banjo, some must consider this ai an aluminum bodied 1970's Asian made banjo. This is a copy of the 1930's Gibson Mastertone design banjos. Not familiar with them, then google it. Way better made, and much better sound, than the aluminum bodied ones. Comes in a chipboard hard case. Read my feedback, buy with
