Selling a beautiful 1920 Vega Tubaphone 5 string banjo. Iconic look and sound! Large and warm tone. This one started as a Vega style m tenor and was converted into a 5 string banjo..Not sure who did the conversion but they did a stellar job!
Great player, outstanding tone, and visually astonishing..It has a calf skin banjo head on it( there are a few stains on the head- see photos) banjo is very solid..Will also come with the original tenor neck that was with the body! Serial puts it at 1920. While old, it’s still in outstanding shape!!
Only selling because I have a whyte laydie and can not justify keeping both!!! Comes with a nice hardshell case as well!!
